How long will something stay on my criminal records in Texas?

Posted by nora
maybe this is not the place to ask but...
The length of time a crime stays on your criminal record varies from state to state.
It also varies depending on factors such as the severity of the crime. Was it considered a misdemeanor or a felony? Also, was it a DUI, an assault, robbery, or something else?
All of these things impact how long a crime stays on your record, regardless of what state you are in. texas or what ever.
Hi there.

Something else you need to remember that when it comes to being charged or arrested and convicted, those situations are handled in different ways. Some situations stay on your record forever, or until you have an attorney expunge them, such as court dates, arrests, charges, and misdemeanor and felony convictions.

Sorry man,
but criminal convictions never just drop off of your record.
You have to have them expunged. No other options.
